Gentle wrinkle treatment, facial and lip modeling

Human skin is increasingly exposed to environmental influences. Sun exposure, smoking and alcohol consumption, as well as personal predispositions, are crucial factors that contribute to the aging of the skin. The skin loses its tension and sags, resulting in wrinkles. These are initially small, but deepen more and more over the years, giving your face a tired and worn-out appearance. With hyaluronic acid filler and botulinum toxin, we offer you a form of therapy that specifically and effectively counteracts the aging process of the skin. Gentle and careful facial rejuvenation using supple injections. A holistic, fresh appearance using facial modeling and volume enhancement.

Two medical products are used for your facial treatment

The latest generation of hyaluronic acid fillers. The wrinkles are injected and thereby raised. Hyaluronic acid produces a stabilising volume and stimulates the formation of collagenous connective tissue. The prescription drug botulinum toxin (botox) is used for treating wrinkles caused by activation of the mimic muscles. Botox works by relaxing the muscles. Dr. Lachmann, who is a specialist physician with many years of experience, offers this treatment at the clinic. He is certified to administer both botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid fillers in accordance with the latest standards of the German Society for Botulinum Toxin (DGBT).

Plastic eyelid surgery

In men and women, a smooth skin is a visible expression of your activity. In addition to beauty attributes, wrinkle-free skin stands for vitality and youthful vigour. A fresh appearance does not just pay off in your private life. It is certainly also a decisive factor for success in the workplace. Do you find that your eyelids sag or look tired? There has been a massive increase in aesthetic surgery over the last 25 years. A sub-area of eye surgery is concerned with the elimination or reduction of appearance impairments that may be a source of concern for patients. The thin, delicate skin of the eyelid is subject to the normal process of aging from the late 30s onwards. The radiant, fresh facial expression is lost, and the area around the eyes looks tired and heavy. Eyelid surgery of the upper eyelids is one of the most common procedures in plastic eye surgery.

Able to resume sporting activities: after 2 weeks

Thread lifting with PDO-threads

The thread lift is a new innovative method in the field of facial rejuvenation. This is a particularly gentle method for toning facial skin without the need for surgery and a scalpel. Using a local anaesthetic and without making an incision, specially developed ultra-thin medical threads are inserted into the deeper connective tissue under the skin, using thin cannulas. This procedure helps to support and lift the skin. The special structure of the thread allows it to anchor deeply into the sagging tissue by means of pulling and tensioning. Thread lifts have an immediate visible effect. The immediate tightening effect of the thread lift is brought about by structured threads which the doctor can use to shape or lift sagging areas. Its long-term smoothing and skin-rejuvenating effect is due to the targeted stimulation of the connective tissue and the skin. Minimal interventions mean that recovery times are fast.

Wrinkle therapy with botulinum toxin

The classic area of application of botulinum toxin is the upper third of the face, namely the area above the nose. This is where frontal lines, frown furrows, and laugh lines, so-called crow's feet, can be treated especially successfully. Other areas of application with effective results are the neck (platysma) and the so-called cobblestone chin (strawberry chin). Botulinum toxin acts by blocking the messenger agents responsible for muscle activity. Botulinum toxin injections effect dose-related muscle relaxation. The muscular tension of superimposed skin is eliminated, and as a result the skin smoothens. Facial and laugh lines are markedly reduced. This muscle relaxation effect develops gradually over the course of 3-7 days and becomes fully effective within another 5 days.

Botulinum toxin for migraine

Headaches may have multiple causes. However, the most frequent forms include tension headache and migraine. Tension headache manifests itself through dull pressure in the entire head. Along with these symptoms there is frequent concomitant muscular dysfunction in the head-neck-shoulder areas, which is involved in triggering the pain. With migraine, there is episodic, usually intense, often unilateral, pulsating headache. Associated symptoms such as nausea or visual disturbance may develop. If such painful attacks occur on more than half of the days in a month, they are considered to be chronic migraines. Botulinum toxin is used successfully in patients with tension headaches and chronic migraine. Clinical experience has shown that with a special injection pattern of botulinum toxin up to 2/3 of patients respond to this pain therapy, the so-called anti-migraine effect. Pain either resolves completely with this special trigger point therapy, or frequency of attacks is often greatly reduced. The Botox® preparation has been approved in the USA and in the UK for the treatment of specific forms of migraine since 2010.

Botulinum toxin for hyperhidrosis

This is a form of excessive perspiration, i.e. production of sweat that exceeds the degree necessary for regulation of body temperature. The axillae are most often affected. Treatment with botulinum toxin stops the activity of the nerve fibers, which activate the sweat glands, and the axillae remain dry. This desired effect lasts for several months, but then becomes reversible. Nerve functions such as sensation or transdermal perception remain unaffected by this treatment. The Botox® preparation has been approved in Germany as a medication for treatment of pathologically increased sweating consistent with hyperhidrosis since 2003.

Wrinkle therapy with hyaluron acid

Human skin is increasingly exposed to environmental influences. Solar radiation, smoking, and alcohol use, as well as individual predisposition are crucial factors in the aging process of the skin. In this process, the skin loses tension and slackens, and as a result wrinkles develop. Initially these are minor, but over the years with ongoing marked facial expression they increasingly deepen and ultimately contribute to your face appearing tired and used. We offer a therapy that will counteract the skin aging process in a targeted and effective way! With regular use you will delay formation of wrinkles for years and appear younger and fresher. Hyaluronic acids have been established to date as very safe, effective fillers with multiple applications. Modern hyaluronic acids demonstrate clearly prolonged activity for over a year. Various manufactured hyaluronic acids are available. These extend from products with little cross-linking to those of moderate to high-grade linking. Depending on their area of application, special injection techniques can treat the tiniest superficial lines, deeper folds, or volume build-up with contouring of the face.

Wrinkle treatment:
Wrinkles are injected and so lifted. Hyaluronic acid creates stabilizing volume and stimulates formation of collagenous connective tissue. Primary areas of application are the nasolabial folds, frown line, and labial wrinkles.

Facial filling:
This involves filling of volume defects in the entire face. The goal of this treatment is a youthful appearance through targeted three-dimensional volume correction and facial contouring. Primary areas of application are the cheekbones, the mouth, and the chin.

Lip remodeling:
Here, the lips are restored to a volume appropriate to the relationship of upper and lower lip through a special technique of injection, the so-called segmental augmentation. The special material flows into the lip and gives it a naturally beautiful shape. Strands or bulges cannot develop as a result of this new procedure and the hyaluronic acid specific to this application. Areas of use are upper and lower lips, lip contours, mouth angles, and small labial lines.

Mesotherapy:
This type of treatment is intended to restore turgor to aging skin, which throughout the years lost subcutaneous fatty tissue and collagen connective tissue, by raising moisture. Primary areas of application are the neck and décolleté, the dorsum of the hand, and the face.

Anti-Aging concept - skin rejuvenation

Aside from known treatments such as wrinkle injection and filling, we dispose of another therapeutic option, the so-called mesotherapy. It is possible, with specially produced hyaluronic acid and appropriate application technique, to give tensile strength and firmness to the skin. The goal of this treatment is to achieve tightening of the skin by stimulation, through improved microcirculation of the connective tissue. Targeted replenishment is intended to give the skin added turgor, and a tired-appearing skin will to look radiant through increase of moisture content. The aging process is to be preventively offset through stimulation of cell metabolism. Fine superficial skin lines will be smoothened. This method complements the known procedures for skin rejuvenation. Preferred areas of application are the neck, décolleté, dorsum of the hand, and face.

LiquidLift concept - Facelift without surgery 7-Point Shape™ according to Dr.Mauricio de Maio

Recent years have seen a significant change in wrinkle therapy with hyaluronic acid fillers as a result of new, high-performance preparations of varied manufacture, consistency, activity, and thus precise area of use. While some years ago the primary concern was the smoothing and reduction of isolated lines, now the aim is to achieve a three-dimensional restoration of the face. Want to look more attractive? Bring sagging skin areas back into their correct position? With the new 7-point contouring approach, sagging facial lines are reshaped with targeted hyaluronic acid injections. The contours of the face are repositioned, and the skin tightened towards the back.

A youthful face is characterized by a so-called V shape. This means high cheekbones and a tapering form flowing inferiorly towards the chin. As the person ages, these facial features are repositioned into a so-called A shape. This signifies sinking of the cheekbones, deep-seated tear furrow, a shape extending outward and inferiorly toward the chin as a result of pronounced nasolabial folds, and a widened chin with sagging jowls. The tissue loses elasticity and tracks gravity, and there are distinct volume losses in the entire facial area.

The goal of the new treatment methods (volume therapy) is to recreate an aesthetically beautiful, youthful facial shape, and to add volume where it is lacking. A genuine lifting effect takes place, contours are reestablished, and additional tightening and stabilization of the tissue is achieved. By using special injection points and techniques, a new concept, the so-called 8-point lifting, the specialist can offer the patient a tailored, individually adjusted aesthetic therapy that delivers natural results. All without a surgical face lift.
