Driving and control activites G25

There are always fatal accidents in road traffic and in in-house transport. Anyone driving a forklift, crane or other vehicle or operating machinery carries increased responsibility. These individuals must be suitable for these tasks so that they do not endanger themselves or others. Examinations by occupational physicians authorised to carry out occupational medical examinations according to G25 are sufficient to assess the eyesight of personnel that drive, operate or monitor machinery. However, if minimum requirements are not met, the person concerned should be advised to consult an eye specialist independently of the occupational medical examination. Special examinations are necessary, such as visual acuity, spatial vision, colour vision, field of vision, twilight vision and sensitivity to glare. The examination can only be completed after the defective vision has been diagnosed and corrected by the eye specialist. We would be pleased to carry out these additional examinations for you.
